Electrical/Equipment Set Phase

At this phase we pour your equipment pad in front of the manifold our plumbers installed and we set your pool equipment. This varies depending on your choices for your custom pool but typically includes a pump, booster pump for your cleaner and a cartridge filter. Some pools also include a heater and a chiller. We are proud to use all Pentair equipment on all of our custom pools.

Our electrician then installs an electrical breaker box, usually called a sub-panel, at the spot where the pool equipment is set up. This can be a common timer panel or some customers choose to go with our Pentair EZ Touch panel with screen logic. This allows the customer to have complete automation from their phone of their pool. This panel is going to be the brains of the whole set up. The electrician will also connect the pool lights to a junction box installed outside of the pool deck where we then wire it back to your sub-panel. At this time we pressure check all of the lines, preparing for the next phase.

If you have a heater for your pool, our licensed plumber will run a gas line from your existing meter to your pool heater. We typically recommend building a small privacy fence around your pool equipment.
